Need some advice.
Last week I said I’d be putting out quite a few new books this year, one of them being a rewritten book I wrote a year or so ago. The more I think about it, the more I realize that I could put that time into End Times and get it out faster.
Here’s the rub. It’s going to take me less time to rewrite the older novel, because the creative part to it is over–this is just rewriting/editing. End Times is taking some time because I’m a slow writer (as I’ve mentioned before, my editing process is over twice as long as my actual writing process). So, should I focus just on the new book, or work on getting both out? Does it matter?
I think you should finish the older one. Go ahead and get it out there for people to read. Then move on to the next idea. Just my humble opinion.
Yeah, that’s a pretty good argument, just get more books out there for people–I guess I’m just in love with what I’m writing now. Thanks, I’m kinda leaning that way.
If you’re on a roll with End Times concentrate on it but when you hit a difficult spot concentrate on the old one?
